Planned service for commercial properties
Define the tasks before setting the calendar.
For an Ontario warehouse maintenance program, identify the building assets that support the work areas and the access needed to reach them. Include loading schedules and equipment clearances in the planning information. Distinguish recurring building-system tasks from upkeep assigned to the operator’s production or material-handling equipment providers.
A useful maintenance schedule starts with the building rather than an arbitrary number of visits. Available manufacturer information, service history, equipment use and site conditions help shape proposed tasks and intervals. Identify which assets are included, who already maintains them and which activities require a specialist or a separate agreement. A routine visit should also have a process for documenting concerns and requesting additional work.
The proposal establishes the recurring scope; parts, corrective repairs, replacement equipment and activities outside that scope are addressed through the agreed approval process.
